The curtain came down on another 888poker.com PGA EuroPro Tour season last week as Paul Maddy won Tour Championship at Woburn, and in doing so topped the Order of Merit.
Duncan Stewart and Stuart Manley had already secured their Challenge Tour cards prior to Tour Championship and they finished second and third respectively on the Order of Merit.
Finishing third at Woburn added another £5,500 to James Hepworth’s earnings and he rose to fourth on the Order of Merit, displacing Paul Reed.
Wallace Booth finished tied 10th at the Tour Championship and secured the final Challenge Tour card on offer in ending the season fifth on the Order of Merit. Elliot Saltman, who concludes the 2012 Tour sixth, missed out on his Challenge Tour card by less than £75.
Tyrrell Hatton, who won Qualifying School in April, finished 11th on the Order of Merit to collect the Rookie of the Year trophy.
The season isn’t yet over for nine 888poker.com PGA EuroPro Tour members, who are heading to Spain for the final stage of European Tour Qualifying School.
Wallace Booth, Tom Haylock, Jamie Howarth, Paul Maddy, James Ruth, Zane Scotland, Martin Sell, Jason Timmis and James Watts are all through to the final stage where the top 25 will gain a category 11b on the 2013 European Tour and those who make the cut after four rounds of the six-round event will gain a category on the Challenge Tour.
