Hot on the heels of The Pandora 2009 Open at Burhill Golf Club in Surrey, the PGA EuroPro Tour moves to Kent’s Marriott Tudor Park for the Virgin Atlantic 25th Anniversary Classic.
James Busby (The Shropshire, pictured) won his first Tour event at Burhill and followed that with victory in the Pro-Am at Tudor Park on Sunday. Official bookmakers Sky Bet make the 27 year-old 25/1 to record back-to-back victories, which would move him to the top of the Order of Merit after he jumped to fourth spot with his win in Surrey.
Daniel Gaunt (Burhill GC) and Paul Dwyer (Clitheroe) are the joint favourites at 16/1, with Elliot Saltman (Aegon) behind them at 18/1. Daniel Brooks (Mill Hill) continued his fine form, pocketing the runners-up cheque at Burhill to move to the top of the money list – he’s 20/1 for the win. Jack Doherty (North Gailes) carded a final round 67 to finish third in The Pandora 2009 Open and he’s 22/1 to win.
