EuroPro players ready for European Tour Q School

The second stage of European Tour Qualifying School takes place in Spain this week and the Ivobank PGA EuroPro Tour is well represented with over 40 players from this year’s action taking part.

The second stage begins on Wednesday 5 November on four courses in Cadiz with the final stage taking place at PGA Golf de Catalunya from the 13 November.

Skybet priced up the 2008 Les Bordes Tour Championships on the Ivobank PGA EuroPro Tour and they have prices on the second stage of qualifying, and there is bound to be plenty of interest in the EuroPro Tour players.

Order of Merit winner Noel Fox (MMI, pictured) is an 80-1 shout to triumph at Sherry Golf Jerez, where he plays with fellow tour players Daniel Gaunt (Selsdon Park GC 33/1), Adam Frayne (St Mellion 80/1) and Mark Laskey (The Shire 150/1).

Fox was ahead of exciting prospect Dale Marmion (Eaton) in the money list and he is 66/1 chance when he plays at the Montenmedio Golf and Country Club. Marmion was one place ahead of Lloyd Kennedy also plays at Montenmedio (Chelmsford GC 50/1) along with seventh placed Nicky Harris (Whitefield GC 80/1).

At Golf Costa Ballena, fourth place money-list man Alan Murray (Greystones GC) is 40/1 there, where he lines up alongside Jamie Moul (Stoke by Nayland 33/1), Paul Maddy (Gog Magog 80/1) and Chris Hanson (Crosland Heath/ 100/1).

The final venue is Arcos Gardens where Matthew Ford (Marriott Tudor Park 33/1) will be out for revenge after missing out on the top five at the Tour Championship. Joining him is Peak Performance player of the month winner Simon Thornton (Royal County Down 40/1), Scotsman Elliot Saltman (Aegon 50/1), Jamie Elson (Forum Financial Associates 40/1) and Tom Haylock (HES 80/1).
