EuroPro Tour announces Sweetspot partnership

February 22nd, 2013

The PGA EuroPro Tour is delighted to announce Sweetspot Nutrition as its Official Energy Product Supplier for the next three years.

Sweetspot Nutrition will also sponsor this year’s Sweetspot Classic at Longhirst Hall near Morpeth, following the success of last summer’s sponsorship.

“We are very excited to be working with Sweetspot once again,” said PGA EuroPro Tour Director of Operations Daniel Godding.

“Our partnership with Sweetspot Nutrition builds on the foundations laid in 2012 and we look forward to working together closely over the next three years.

“Sweetspot have some exciting product launches coming up and the PGA EuroPro Tour is thrilled to be able to help promote the brand.

“We got a lot of positive feedback from our golfers about the Sweetspot product range last summer and I know many of them have continued to use the bars and beans. As Duncan Stewart proved in winning both Sweetspot events last summer, beans means greens!”

Rob Mullen, Managing Director of Sweetspot Nutrition, added: “The growth of our Sweetspot brand was exceptional last year partly due to our involvement with the PGA EuroPro Tour. We are delighted to be the Tour’s Official Energy Product Supplier and introducing our fantastic new range this season.”

The 2013 Sweetspot Masters will take place at Longhirst Hall Golf Club from August 14 to August 16. As will all PGA EuroPro Tour events, a two-hour highlights package will be broadcast on Sky Sports HD and globally on ESPN Star (Asia) and Fox Sports Australia.
