RECORD NUMBERS of aspiring players have signed up for the 2005 Sky Sports PGA EuroPro Tour Qualifying School – with each of the three venues at full capacity.
The Sky Sports Qualifying School will take place over two stages, beginning at the end of March at Wynyard, Frilford Heath and Stoke-by-Nayland.
Stage Two takes place at Bedford and Pavenham from 6-8 April.
Players from around the globe will be hoping to win their place on the World’s leading developmental golf tour.
As well as entries from across Great Britain and Europe, players from New Zealand, South Africa, Canada, Nigeria, Dubai and Fiji will be teeing off over the next month.
“To have such a level of interest is unprecedented,” said PGA EuroPro Tour Director Eddie Hearn.
“With the increases in prize funds throughout the year, players are realising how important it is to win your card for the 2005 season.
“With this number of entries coming in from all around the World – competition will be hotter than ever!”
