The HotelPlanner.com PGA EuroPro Tour season continues with the Jessie May World Snooker Championship at Collingtree Park Golf Club in Northampton.
Last week saw 16-year old Korean sensation MK Kim secure his second consecutive EuroPro title to climb one win behind Race To Amendoeira leader Chris Lloyd, and half way to the coveted £250,000 four-win bonus.
And with just three events left in the season, it is all to play for.
Eight of the EuroPro elite sit on one win this season and have the chance to remain in contention for the quarter of a million-pound bonus with a win at Collingtree Park.
But all eyes will be fixed on the two leading golfers, who are the favourites to win four events this season.
Whilst a win for Kim this week wouldn’t put him top in the Race To Amendoeria; it would certainly cut Lloyd’s lead, and by a considerable amount, if the 25 year-old doesn’t finish in the top spots.
The Tour has returned to Collingtree Park for the first time in four years, with a few familiar faces in the form of Jonathan Caldwell and Jack Colegate looking to replicate their former top 20 finishes in Northampton and challenge for the Race To Amendoeria top five.
The Jessie May World Snooker Championship tees off on Wednesday, August 30. All players will play 36 holes before a cut to the leading 50 professionals and ties is made after Thursday’s second round. The winner after Friday’s final 18 will take home £10,000 from the £50,000 total prize fund along with a brand new Motocaddy S3 PRO electric trolley with lithium battery, Bushnell Pro X2 Range Finder and Bolle sunglasses.
A two-hour highlights package from each event is broadcast on Sky Sports Golf, and on 98 networks around the world reaching 400 million homes. In addition, every event is available to watch on demand in high definition on YouTube.
Spectator entry is free of charge throughout the week and live scoring will be available at www.europrotour.com.
