EUROPEAN TOUR member Andrew Marshall will be among the field for the opening event of the 2005 PGA EuroPro Tour season at Wensum Valley.
Marshall, 32, has played on the European Tour since 2002 but will be making a return to Norfolk to play in The PartyPoker.com Classic, which begins next Wednesday.
The East Dereham star finished 90th on the Volvo Order of Merit last year, and has earned a sponsors’ exemption for the event.
Another player with European Tour experience to tee off at Wensum Valley will be Noel Fox, who finished equal sixth at the Sky Sports Qualifying School recently.
The PartyPoker.com Classic will boast a prize fund of £45,000 as the new PGA EuroPro Tour season begins with its debut at Wensum Valley.
A host of the top players from the 2004 Order of Merit are also among the field, including Inder van Weerelt and Michael Welch.
Brett Taylor and Peter Whiteford, who shared the spoils at the Sky Sports Qualifying School in Bedford recently, will be joined by Lee Gauthier has now turned professional following his impressive showing at Bedford and Pavenham.
Players will also be able to audition for a place on the Big Break IV at Wensum Valley on Monday.
