Morrison's European Tour run continues

Morrison's European Tour run continues

April 28th, 2010

Former PGA EuroPro Tour man James Morrison continues to make waves on the European Tour, following his maiden Tour win with a play-off defeat in Spain.

Morrison came agonisingly close to recording back-to-back victories, packing his bag from winning in Madeira three weeks ago before shooting a final round 67 in the Open de Espana to force a play-off with Alvaro Quiros. Unfortunately for the 25 year-old, he pulled his approach at the first play-off hole into the water and double-bogeyed, meaning Quiros’ par was enough to claim the trophy.

Morrison – who appeared on the EuroPro Tour in eight events in 2007 – has won over €400,000 in his first seven European Tour events so far this year.
