The HotelPlanner.com PGA EuroPro Tour reaches the halfway stage of its season this week as the Motocaddy Masters takes place at The Carrick on Loch Lomond, the first of a back-to-back double header in Scotland.
The 54-hole tournament sees some of the UK and Ireland’s top pros tee it up with a £40,000 prize fund on offer, with the winner taking home £10,000. The money earned will also be crucial funds to add to the all-important HotelPlanner.com Order of Merit, from which the top five golfers at the end of the season graduate to the Challenge Tour.

In addition to the prize fund, tournament sponsors Motocaddy are bolstering their prize offering for the event to award the top three players a brand new Motocaddy trolley, with a combined value of over £1,000. The leading professional in the pre-tournament Pro-Am will also receive a brand new Motocaddy S1 PRO with 18-hole battery, worth £349.99.
Among the favourites for the tournament is two-time European Tour winner Bradley Dredge, and Archerfield Links golfer Elliot Saltman, whose brothers Lloyd and Zack are also in the field.
The tournament gets underway at 7:30am on Wednesday (July 9), with a two-tee start in operation. Friday’s final round will be filmed for a two-hour highlights package to be broadcast on Sky Sports HD on Tuesday, July 22.
