PGA EuroPro Tour is pleased to announce a new long-term partnership with P2 Putter Grips as its official tour grip.
P2 Grips feature a unique patented design that allows the shaft to be positioned along the underside of the grip encouraging the golfer to position their hands and wrists higher at address.
P2 Grips independently tested by Quintic Consultancy revealed that:
– Putts were struck closer to sweetspot.
– Putter face was prevented from twisting open or closed at impact.
– Hook or slice spin was reduced
– Putts started closer to the intended starting line.
The innovative grip has some famous accolades to boot, including PGA Professional Richard Wallis’ world record 14 under par 59 round in 2013; and more recently Michelle Wie’s win at the 2018 HSBC Women’s World Championship in Singapore.
Enda McLoughlin, PGA Professional and designer at P2 Grips said, “P2 Putter Grips is pleased to partner with the PGA EuroPro Tour which we believe provides a great platform for younger professionals to improve their performance as part of their career development in professional golf.”
Dan Godding, Chief Executive Officer of the PGA EuroPro Tour said: “We are delighted to have P2 Grips on board as the official grip. They offer a fantastic range of putter grips that can help golfers at the top of their game, as well as golfers picking up the putter for the very first time.”
He added: “Their patented design has proven results to back them up, and I’m certain future accolades await them. Who knows, their grips could help one of our golfers win the coveted £250,000 four-win or £59,000 bonuses this season!”
