The 2011 PGA EuroPro Tour heads to Hunley Hall in North Yorkshire for the penultimate event of the season.

More than 150 of the best young golf professionals from Britain and Ireland will be playing in the three-day Integral Collection Classic from Wednesday, September 14 to Friday, September 16.

Competition will be fierce as all of the players aim to claim a place in the top 60 in the Order of Merit and qualify for the end-of-season Tour Championships in Spain.

Huddersfield’s Chris Hanson (pictured), betting favourite to win, has enjoyed an amazing campaign and is top of the money list after victories at Galgorm Castle in Ballymena, Bovey Castle in Devon and Mottram Hall in Cheshire.

The EuroPro Tour is the leading golf developmental in the world and a host of former players have gone on to the main European Tour.

Former Open winner Louis Oosthuizen played on the Tour in the past, as did Ross Fisher, a member of last year’s victorious European Ryder Cup team.

The top five on the money list after the Tour Championships will advance to next season’s Challenge Tour and be only one step away from playing alongside the continent’s elite.

Hanson and Doncaster’s Graeme Clark are the only two men to have guaranteed their places in the top five and each pound won could prove crucial in the race for the other three spots.

All players play rounds on both Wednesday and Thursday with the top 50 players and ties advancing to the final round on Friday where the eventual champion will pocket £10,000.

Matchroom Sport will film all the action and produce a two-hour highlights programme which will appear on Sky Sports on Wednesday, September 28.

The 2011 Tour Championships will be staged at the prestigious Intercontinental Mar Menor Golf Resort in Murcia, Spain.

Staged from Wednesday, October 5 to Friday, October 7, the Tour Championships is the biggest and final event of the 2011 PGA EuroPro Tour season.
