The Scotland pro faces tough competition in the 54-hole event with ex-Walker Cup player and Q-school winner John Parry also in the field.
Another ex-Walker Cup player Jamie Elson goes into the first round buoyed by a second place behind Ireland’s Alan Murray in yesterday’s pro-am.
Also playing are past European Tour regulars Andrew Marshall and Matt Richardson.
