Play underway in the Masters

Play underway in the Masters

September 24th, 2008

The Masters finally got some good weather so the players can step out in Spain and aim for a Top 60 spot in the Order of Merit to get to the Tour Championships.

The La Cala Resort in Malaga came under siege from torrential rain yesterday but the sun is making an effort today and play was able to begin on time today. The lost day cannot be salvaged though so we are now looking at a 36-hole tournament to see who will make it to Les Bordes for the Tour Championship. Stephen Grant (Grant Engineering) has gone through the front nine and currently heads a group of seven players at two under.

So the pressure is on the players to get it right in the opening round – and you can follow the action live by clicking on the Score Updates link on the homepage.
