The PGA EuroPro Tour returns to action with a trip to Cumberwell Park Golf Club, Bradford-On Avon, for The Diamond X Open.
A regular stop in the season for the tour, Cumberwell Park offers a blend of rolling countryside, lakes, streams, natural copse, and woodland. It’s the only 45 hole golf course in Wiltshire, the red and yellow courses will be in focus next week.
Last year it was Mark Young who came out on top finishing on sixteen under, clear of three Cumberwell Park’s own in Steve Surry, James Cooper, and Will Brown.
The winner of The World Snooker Jessie May Championship at Donnington Grove, Mikael Lundberg will feature in the field as well as David Dixon who also has a win under his belt this season.
Lundberg currently leads the order of merit after three events closely followed by Dixon and Todd Clements.
James Adams of Druids Heath Golf Club and Alfie Plant from Sundridge Park Golf Club will both be hoping to go one and two better than last time out also.
In the gap week, Richard Mansell and Joe Brooks raised funds for a close friend who recently suffered a brain haemorrhage by playing 100 holes of golf, raising over £2,000. Both will feature at Bradford-On-Avon course.
It’s free for spectators to go down and watch with live scoring available on our website once play gets underway.
Highlights of The Diamond X Open 2019 will air on Sky Sports Golf at a later date.
The Tour heads down south for The Golf Catcher Championship at Dudsbury Golf Club in Ferndown.
