After a break, the PGA EuroPro Tour Season enters its penultimate month of the main season with the Race To Desert Springs hotting up as we head to Mannings Heath Golf and Wine Estate for The Nokia Masters.
It’s an anomaly on the tour next week with the first round being on Thursday (August, 8) rather than the Wednesday with the final round being on Saturday (August, 10).
The championship course has been influenced by Harry Colt, the great golf course architect responsible for beautiful layouts across the South of England. Colt’s input makes the Waterfall a challenging but exciting course which can test even the best of players.
In the Race To Desert Springs Richard Mansell (Beau Desert Golf Club) consolidated his spot at the top of the Order of Merit with a top ten finish whilst Sean Towndrow (Southport & Ainsdale GC / G4L) won to rocket up to sixth. The latter will not feature.
Lyle Rowe (Humewood Golf Club), Othman Almulla (Royal Greens Golf and Country) and Digraj Singh Gill are amongst those featuring for the first time this season. Billy Hemstock won a playoff to win last time at Mannings Heath against Dave Coupland.
