The PartyPoker.com PGA EuroPro Tour Qualifying School final stage takes place at Frilford Heath in Oxford on Wednesday (April 16) with 240 players entering the race for a Tour card.
The hopefuls will tackle the course over three days with a high quality schedule lined up for the 2008 season, the players will be keen to aim for the top ranking and reach some of the finest courses in Europe.
Last week, four venues staged the first round of Qualifying School, with over 400 players aiming for a place at Frilford.
Jamie Moul (pictured) capitalised on home advantage to top the PGA EuroPro Tour qualifiers at Stoke by Nayland.
The former amateur world number one, who is attached to the Suffolk club, fired rounds of 71 and 67 over the Constable Course for a six under total.
England’s Shane Winstone emerged top of the qualifiers at The Players Club in Bristol after rounds of 69 and 71.
Moul and Winstone were two of more than 450 players battling for a spot at next week’s final qualifying school during four pre-qualifiers being concluded today.
Qualifiers were also being staged at Forest Pines where Simon Thornton (Royal County Down) topped the leaderboard at ten under par while Robert Perrett carded successive rounds of 67 to dominate at The Bedford Club.
