The 11th event of the 2011 PGA EuroPro Tour season comes from De Vere Mottram Hall in Macclesfield, Cheshire.

Competition for places in the top five in the Order of Merit is fierce and all of the golfers still with a chance of claiming one of the three remaining spots will be in action in the Network Veka Classic, which begins on Wednesday and finishes on Friday.

Among the entrants are previous 2011 winners Luke Goddard (pictured), Jamie Abbott, Paul Reed, Duncan Stewart, Stuart Archibald and Andrew Willey will all be in action.

Order of Merit leader Chris Hanson, a winner at two events this year, will also be in action and has a chance to extend his lead at the top of the money list.

Hanson and Graeme Clark have already gained enough money to ensure their promotion to next season’s Challenge Tour but with only two events of the main tour and then the end-of-season Tour Championships remaining, dozens of golfers still have a chance for the other three places.

Talented teenager Tyrrell Hatton, 19, has played in the Walker Cup and will be making his professional debut this week after only turning professional earlier this month.

“I’m looking forward to my first event as a pro and excited that I’ve turned professional,” said Hatton, who, aged 18, was the youngest player in the 2010 Open.

Hatton is priced at 25/1 to win the Network Veka Classic with Sky Bet, while Hanson is a clear favourite at 10/1.
