EuroPro tour player Matt Richardson enters the final stage of Q School in America this week aiming to secure a place on the US PGA Tour.
Richardson finished fourth at the second stage at Lantana Golf Club, Texas and has got his conditional Nationwide Tour card for next year. The final stage takes begin on December 3 in California on the Nicklaus Tournament Course and TPC Stadium Course at La Quinta and finishes on the 8th.
The Buckinghamshire man finished 22nd in this year’s Order of Merit on the Ivobank PGA EuroPro Tour, with his best showing prior to that coming in 2006 where he won an event at Stonebridge and finished fifth in the money list.
Over in Australia, money list runner-up Dale Marmion (pictured) made the cut at the Australian Masters in Melbourne. The Eaton player was level going into the final round after carding rounds of 76, 69 and 71. He was unable to climb up the leaderboard on a tough final day though and shot 77 to finish five over for the tournament. Former EuroPro Tour players Daniel Wardrop and Rob Harris also made the final round.
