Congratulations to PGA Europro Tour player Robert Rock, who finished in joint fourth place in the Daily Telegraph Damovo British Masters with an amazing eight under par score of 280!
Rock, who played in the PGA Europro Tour events at Marriott St Pierre and Breadsall Priory, ended the 2002 season on a high after topping the PGA Midland Region Order of Merit, and gained entry to the B&H International Open and the Volvo PGA Championship this year as a result. Some outstanding play resulted in him making the cut at both events, and his season continued to go from strength to strength when he received an invite to Celtic Manor. Again, Rock played well to make the cut, and his total winnings over the three events topped 65,000 Euros!
Robert was then invited to play at the Daily Telegraph Damovo British Masters, where his solid play earned him his incredible fourth place finish. Robert retuned impressive scores of 73, 69, 70 and 68 to finish eight under par for the tournament and collect a cheque for 88,750 Euros!
