The Cobra Puma Championship Rebranded to Include England & Wales Blind Golf

May 20th, 2022

The PGA EuroPro Tour would like to announce that there will be a slight alteration to the name of the seventh tournament of the season.

England & Wales Blind Golf charity will partner with Cobra Puma as support to the event.

The CPG Classic in support of England & Wales Blind Golf will take place at Belton Woods, from 13-15 July.

England & Wales Blind Golf

Sight-loss can happen at any moment, and in extreme scenarios, can take place overnight. England & Wales Blind Golf offer a support system for those who suffer with sight-loss.

The charity has created a loving and caring community, with the focal point being the sport of golf.

Instead of caddies, blind golfers are reliant on ‘guides’, who go above and beyond the role of a traditional caddie.

Guides help align the blind golfers, before detailing ball flight and what kind of shot is needed for the best approach.

The charity is in desperate need for volunteers, who would help guide their golfers around the course and work as a team.

Additionally, if you know anyone who is struggling with sight-loss, why not introduce them to the charity?

Throughout the year, there are multiple events hosted by England & Wales Blind Golf – including a trip to EuroPro Tour venue The Vale Golf & Country Club later this summer.
