The Birdies and Eagles Challenge

The PGA EuroPro Tour and are delighted to announce the launch of The Birdies & Eagles Challenge for the 2008 season.  

The Birdies & Eagles Challenge will award players with 10 points for an Albatross, five points for an Eagle and two points for a Birdie with a £10,000 prize pool.

“We are delighted to have secured’s support for another season and I think the Birdies & Eagles challenge will be an exciting feature for the new season. We have the best young talent in the World playing on the PGA EuroPro Tour and with the aggressive play that they bring to each tournament, the competition will be fierce,” commented Eddie Hearn, PGA EPT Chief Executive.

Research shows that last year’s Order of Merit winner Graeme Clark would have take the title with 346 points ahead of Tour Championship winner Andrew Willey. The winner of the 2008 Challenge will walk away with £5,000, 2nd will pick up £2,000, 3rd £1,500, 4th £1,000 and 5th £500.
The PGA EuroPro Tour Qualifying School begins on April 9 at courses in Bedfordshire, Essex, Bristol and North Lincolnshire, with the final round at Frilford Heath in Oxfordshire on April 16. For more information on the Qualifying School, [url=]click here.[/url]
